The mission of St. Peter Celestine religious education program for children grades Pre-K through Eighth is to help the child develop as a whole person. In so doing, our parish recognizes, appreciates and celebrates the gifts of faith, life, and God’s love.
Volunteers are needed for catechist, special needs, eighth grade food preparation, Sunday nursery school and Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
St. Peter Celestine parish offers religious formation for children grades Pre-K through eight. Parents are assisted by the Religious Education Coordinator and dedicated volunteers who are guided by approved curriculum as they share their faith with our young people. Religious Education runs from mid-September through April.
St. Peter Celestine parish offers inclusive catechesis for children with special needs from first through eighth grade. Children are joined by a one on one “companion catechist” in class as well as the lead catechist.
