Register for Baptism
Confirmation Preparation
Confirmation preparation begins in the Winter of seventh grade. The Sacrament of Confirmation takes place in the Fall of a student’s freshman year in high school. It is the purpose of this ministry to prepare young adults to seal the faith commitment made at Baptism.
First Eucharist Preparation
This program prepares the second-grade children and their parents for the celebration of the Sacrament. Upon completion of the program, First Eucharist may be celebrated individually or with a group at a weekend liturgy.
First Penance Preparation
This ministry prepares children for the Sacrament of Penance well before First Eucharist. The parents of the children attend one meeting approximately ten weeks beforehand, and receive materials and instructions preparing their child for the Sacrament. Additional instruction is given in Religious Education.
RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process through which those seeking to fully join the Catholic Church are welcomed. This process includes those who have never been baptized, baptized in other Christian faiths, and baptized Catholics who have not received First Eucharist or Confirmation. It is a journey of Faith. In the company of a sponsor from the parish community, and through experiences of faith sharing, prayer, instruction and celebration, inquirers then enter into the sacramental life of the church at the Easter Vigil.
We welcome any parishioner who wishes to serve as a team member, sponsor a catechist or to be a hospitality person.
